Touristy

This past weekend Jeremy had a rare Saturday off work. We had all kinds of different ideas on places to go and things to do, but we eventually realized that there was quite a few things we've been meaning to do right here in our own town. So we played tourist for the day, our main stops being the Michigan State University Dairy Store and horticultural gardens. It was a great time to visit since none of the students are back yet.

Coconut flavored ice cream with chocolate covered almonds. SO GOOD.

It's a tunnel. And a dragon. Made of willow. This really made me wish I were a small child.

We also visited the American Apparel and Urban Outfitters downtown (no buys, just looked) and finished the day off with dinner at our favorite Mediterranean restaurant and a bit of thrifting. It was a great day and felt so good to relax a bit after the stress of the last month.

What did you do this weekend?

  1. Cute outfit! Had a great weekend. Went to my singing lesson on Saturday and my teacher was pleased with my progress which was good. In the evening I went to watch my teacher and her band perform at a local pub. She was amazing!
