Vintage Jewelry and the Dress Search

Old Navy Hat ($16)
Old Navy Cardigan ($11)
Kohl's Top
Old Navy Jeans ($30)
Connie Boots via Famous Footwear (clearance, $40)
Vintage Necklace via a flea market ($2.50)
Vintage Bracelet via a flea market ($5)

I apologize for the less than awesome photos, but I really like this outfit!  I had just gotten the necklace and bracelet the day before, along with two other bracelets, and was excited to wear them.  I decided to keep it simple with the black and let the colorful necklace be the focus.

I'm usually not much for bracelets, but I really like this one.  I've been wearing it every day since I got it!

I wore this on Saturday for a day out with my husband.  Part of his Valentine's Day gift to me was a "coupon" for a new dress.  I have never had such a hard time finding a dress I liked as I did on Saturday.  We walked all over the mall and to several other stores as well, and I finally found one for just $8 at Burlington Coat Factory.  I swear, most of the dresses out now are either 100% chiffon or really slim fitting, either of which are really "me"!  Oh was still great to have a nice lunch and spend some time with my husband before we start packing and moving. :)

How was your weekend?

  1. I really like the necklace and the hat it is very cute and suits you so well! A colorful necklace can really add something extra to a basic outfit.
